Joining a League
How to join an existing league using a join code or claim link.
Overview
There are several ways to join a league in Dynasty. The most common is using a join code shared by a coordinator. If you've been added as a guest, you can also claim your guest account to become a full member.
Join with a Code
The quickest way to join a league:
- 1Get the 6-character join code from your league coordinator.
- 2Open Dynasty and tap "Join League" from the Home tab.
- 3Enter the join code (it's not case-sensitive).
- 4You'll be added to the league automatically and assigned to the default division.
Tip: Join codes use easy-to-read characters (no I, L, O, or 0) to avoid confusion.
Join via Link
Coordinators can also share a direct join link. Tapping the link will open Dynasty and automatically join you to the league. If you don't have the app installed yet, the link will direct you to download it first, then complete the join when you open the app.
Claiming a Guest Account
If a coordinator added you as a guest before you had an account, you can claim your guest profile to take ownership of your scores and stats:
- 1The coordinator will share a claim link with you (via text, email, etc.).
- 2Tap the claim link or enter the claim token in the app.
- 3Sign in or create a Dynasty account if you haven't already.
- 4Your guest scores, stats, and bag tag (if applicable) are transferred to your account.
Tip: Once you claim a guest account, you become a full league member with all the same permissions as someone who joined with a code.
What Happens When You Join
When you join a league:
- You're added as a member and assigned to the default division (or a suggested division based on your rating).
- If bag tags are enabled, you'll be assigned a tag number.
- You can immediately view league events, standings, and other members.
- You'll receive notifications for upcoming events (if notifications are enabled).
