How league seasons work and how to start a new one.
What Is a Season?
A season is a defined period of league play containing a set of scheduled events. When you create a league, your first season is automatically created. Seasons help organize your league history and allow for fresh starts with rankings and bag tags.
Season Structure
Each season includes:
- A name (e.g., "Season 1", "Spring 2026").
- A set of scheduled events generated from your recurrence pattern.
- Its own standings and statistics.
- Its own bag tag rankings (if enabled).
Starting a New Season
When the current season ends, coordinators can start a new one. The new season gets a fresh set of events and standings. Coordinators choose how to handle bag tags: carry them over from the previous season or reset all tags for a fresh start.
Viewing Past Seasons
All past season data is preserved. You can view historical standings, individual event results, and player statistics from any previous season through the league's history.
